my grades are okay except in SPANISH cause my spanish teacher esta estupido.
i'm really good at spanish.
lately, spanish vocab and grammar and such has come to mind before english.
and i'll even think in spanish sometimes
its weird.
ive always got so much homework
i havent even been able to go see twilight yet.
twilight rant below.
and not much else has happened.
on the bright side, i went to a dance last friday and got to see all my saint mike buddies :'D
and im really having fun in digital photography. i'll post some of that good stuff periodically.
and i've gotten hooked on Neopets again

twilight rant
in some ways im so glad there was a movie for twilight. of course a movie can never be as good as its book, but it's still exciting and fun to see it played out.
one thing that bugs me, though.
now even the stupid girls who are too illiterate to read the damn book are all over twilight, all of a sudden.
and they're just gushing over edward pattinson and taylor laurent and blah blah blah.
and its so ridiculous when you ask, "oh, so who do you think will play Aro or Caius or Marcus? wait, what? you havent read that book?" and you're supposed to be a twilight fan?
all these dumb moviegoers have no idea about the real story. they can't tell you that there are three other books. you cant go into conversation with any of the story.
its awesome when you've been reading the books before you ever thought of a movie, and you see the movie. i think its sort of sad to see people all interested in it, just because "edward cullen is soooo hot!"
and they'll run around in twilight t-shirts and jackets that they picked up from hot topic, taking their very first step into "that gross, creepy store" to pick it up.
im not saying if you just got into the twilight series that longer-time fans are better than you. its awesome to be able to bring in fans who are intrigued and able to immerse themseleves in a story, and continue it past the "hot guys". i'm just a little more reluctant to say i'm a twilight fan anymore, because of the people who over-do it without any real feel for the story.
whether you're a fan of twilight or not, i know you wouldnt want the magic of your favorite series ruined by today's moviegoers.
